Q. Can we bring pets?

A. Well behaved dogs are fine. They should not be left on their own, and must be kept on a lead inside the park boundaries and (obviously) any mishaps need to be promptly cleared. There are open spaces which are ideal for dog exercise within 50yds of the park entrance.

Q. Can we have directions to Cove Park?

A. If you have a Satnav system, you need the postcode DT5 2HT, otherwise there is a set of directions here.

Q. Can we book for a weekend or midweek short break?

A. The only time we stick to weekly bookings is during the school main holidays, the rest of the year you are welcome to check the availability page and give us a call to find out the price.

Q. Is the picture on your website a view from the property, or does it show where the property is?

A. Neither I'm afraid (if only....) It is a view of Church Ope Cove which is next to Cove Park but down, and therefore up 152 steps. It was taken by Peter van Allen, whose website is at http://www.petervanallen.com

Q. Are you close to the Weymouth and Portland Sailing Academy?

A. The W&PSA is situated as you come onto the island of Portland; 6 Cove Park is on top of the island, about 2km away. You may wish to be aware that Portlanders would always refer to it as the Portland Sailing Academy as it is on Portland and you sail in Portland harbour!!
